Create your own graduation cards for a male or boy using blues and browns. This simple graduation card can be created quickly and is easy to create.

Handmade card ideas for designing graduation cards for boys can start with blues and browns. The blue diagonal print actually came from a baby scrapbook kit but I thought it would also make a nice homemade graduation card.

For this graduation card making project, I used Fiskars' border punch on solid blue paper which gives it a lace effect. I also used Fiskars' circle punch to punch out the sentiment.

I chose brown ribbon for this card since there was a thin, brown stripe on the pattern paper. I tried blue ribbon but it just blended in with the blue border paper.

This card makes a great college or high school graduation card and you can customize the colors depending on the school colors.
