Easter Cards

Easter card designs are plentiful when you have various tools to use. Find lots of homemade card ideas using craft punches, cute stamps and ribbon.

There are lots of inexpensive stamps available these days to inspire you for your Easter card ideas. I found one with a basket and eggs for just $1 so I plan on using it for more homemade easter cards.

I painted the stamp with chalk ink but you can use markers or watercolors but use the right paper for watercolor paint so the paint doesn't wrinkle the paper.

What's great about being able to color your own stamps for your handmade Easter cards is that you can use the same colors on the pattern paper that you are using.

Once the stamped image is painted, the rest of the card is simple to make. I used a scallop border punch on the paper behind the stamped image and embellished the card with satin ribbon.
