Examples of Handmade Cards

For many of my handmade card ideas, I like using sketches and for this birthday card, I used an ebook I purchased called 50 Card Making Sketches.

I love card making so you'll find lots of my homemade greeting card ideas on this site.

The next example is a Valentine's day cardmaking idea that came from scrapbook pattern paper.

Click here for instructions I used a scallop border punch along the bottom edge and used Martha Stewart's Cherish, Around the World craft punch for the cream decorative shape.

Another example of a homemade card is a new baby girl announcement.

I found a pink "baby" scrapbook pattern paper and used it for the background.

This handmade card is embellished with polka dot ribbon, a ballet slipper button and adhesive gems.

One more example of a home made card is this black, red and white Christmas card. This Christmas card idea is embellished with sparkly, red ribbon and a sequenced snowflake.

The snowflake was created using a snowflake punch. I personalized this Christmas card using my laser printer.
