Look to your existing homemade card ideas when thinking about Easter card ideas. I used this card design for a get well soon card so I had the sentiment already saved on my computer and just switched out the "get well soon" text to "Happy Easter". Once the sentiment is printed out and trimmed, assembling the rest of the card is simple.

Make your own Easter cards using a scallop border craft punch and corner craft punch. These are a few of my favorite tools and I try to incorporate them when thinking about hand made card ideas. I punched out one side of purple paper, taped it onto polka dot paper and then punched both papers with a 1/2" corner punch. The card is simple and is embellished with a busy sticker and satin ribbon.

For my hand made card ideas, I often incorporate ribbon and adhesive gems. I love to make Easter cards, and most cards for that matter, using ribbon and adhesive gems. I think they are icing on the cake. This card is pretty simple to make. I printed the greeting on my computer and used a 1/4" corner punch to curve the corners and used a small decorative punch along the inside corners of the sentiment.
