Homemade Fathers Day cards - make cards that are stylish. You'll find lots of cool handmade card ideas to make Fathers day cards that dad will love.
My homemade greeting card ideas to create fathers day cards often consist of brads. For this Happy Fathers Day card I used silver and blue/green brads. I couldn't find a blue/green brad that matched may paper color so I adhered glitter on silver brads.
I like using Martha Stewart 24-Vial Glitter Multi-Pack because it has a good assortment of colors so I was able to find a glitter color to match.
For this handmade card making project, I created the sentiment shape using Martha Stewart's 1-Inch Circle Punch to punch out the corners. Scroll below to get instructions on how to cut out the sentiment shape.
I created the sentiment on my computer for this handmade Fathers Day greeting card. I typed "Happy Father's Day" and then added a thin border. I found a flourish image on the web and resized it to fit over the thin border.

Here's another homemade Father's day card you can make for dad if he is a golf enthusiast. You can substitue the golf stamp for another sport stamp or hobby themed stamp.
I found an inexpensive golf-themed stamp and the same stamp can be used for birthday cards.
If you want colors that are muted for your Father's Day card ideas, here's one where the colors are subdued. I added a grey ribbon and silver leaf embellishment because it seemed more masculine than a flower.
