For my homemade card ideas, I thought this pattern paper with a wood grain print would be appropriate for a handmade Fathers Day card. I used a paper stack called Latte which had coordinating patterns so I included a couple of them on the card.
I used the same style sentiment on other homemade greeting card ideas but changed out the text to say "Happy Father's Day!".
I found the flourishes on Microsoft's website and resized them to fit inside the circle.
For my Fathers Day card ideas, I seem to use my circle punch quite a bit, probably because it is simple and classic. I used Fiskars' Extra Large Round-n-Round Squeeze Punch to cut out the circle sentiment.

I used ribbon for this handmade card making project but you can replace the ribbon with a strip of grey paper so you can have an "all paper" card.
Cardmaking ideas to make Fathers Day greeting cards can be challenging if you are fond of adding embellishments but either way, it'll be a Happy Father's Day for dad.
