A new baby card can look beautiful when you use vellum and pretty baby prints. Personalize your handmade card using a printer and accent it with delicate trim.
If you're thinking of making your own baby card announcements, you can create this one-of-a-kind card idea. Making cards like this one looks complicated but with only 9 simple steps, it isn't. Find a pretty or cute baby print for a boy or girl and accent it with a baby themed embellishments and sparkly gems.
I used my scallop border punch but you can use a white strip of paper and add lace along the bottom or try experimenting with ribbon or rick rack.
Use vellum for the baby information so you can see the print through it. I used my laser printer since the ink adheres well to vellum. If you don't have a laser printer, you can go to a copier store and make copies from your print out but make sure the copier is clean so you don't get smudges on your vellum print out.
