Use free clip art to themed handmade cards like New Years. I incorporated a lot of detail into this card using a large and small circle punch and a scallop border punch. I added pink glitter and coordinated it with satin ribbon.

Use free clip art available on the web to find new ideas to inspire you. Microsoft offers a lot to choose from. In Microsoft's site, search under "new year" to find images to use for your card. You can paint the images or add whatever embellishment you choose.
