Valentines day creative ideas - choose from lots of greeting card ideas for loved ones and find different ways to use punches and embellishments.
I used Martha Stewart's "Punch Around the Page, Cherish" punch to help create this homemade Valentine card. It's a bit tricky at first since you have to get use to the alignment of the edges but after some practice, it helps in creating beautiful, fancy shapes.
Sections of a Valentine pattern paper were left over from my last project so I utilized one of the blocks for my feature element and incorporated the different shades of pink from the pattern paper onto my greeting card.
On the bottom of the card is a scallop border that was punched from my border punch. I also trimmed the card with pink adhesive gems and pink bows.
This card has a versatile design so you can make it into a birthday, get well or other handmade greeting card.
